Biography
I am a PGR at Huddersfield University. I am currently writing two journal articles for publication and writing up my PhD thesis.
I am interested in Sociolinguistics, in particular dialectal and stylistic variation and the social factors that can drive these. I am interested in the history of English, specifically dialectal speech and the area of language and humour.
I am a qualified English teacher with a Masters Degree in Special Education: Autism.
